Mini Giant Squid by Jinx-Fulion Mini Giant Squid by Jinx-Fulion
Not the greatest picture in the world, the wool is actually more of a leafy green- it looks kind of khaki here, but I couldn't get a decent picture without flash, so it's kind of washed out.

Anyway, this is the giant squid I just made- I'm kind of proud, as it's the first item I've made without a pattern.

He is pretty much the cutest cephalopod I've yet seen.

His body is crocheted, his tentacles and.. pointy head.. bits are knitted- his eyes are buttons, as these have the highest adorability factor.

I'm thinking of making a few of these and maybe some other animals (oh man, I wanna make a narwhal) and then possibly setting up an etsy store, but I think first I'd have to make enough of them not to fall totally in love with each creature I make.

His name is Simon.

He's adorable, I love his button eyes! They really give him a traditional handmade look. :'D
