had fun this evening doing lots of little cartoony doodles- I had some friends of mine give me suggestions for what they wanted and then I tried to draw them up quickly in photoshop, but also trying to allow myself to be stylised and to keep to a single layer. Very fun- the short timespan meant that I was being more confident in my strokes and also it was forcing me to go with my first instinctive visualisation- often when I overthink things my perspective goes wiggidy-whack. It's probably quite telling that the picture I took longest over (the doggy, now in scraps) is one of the ones I'm least happy with.
